HIGH END Vienna 2026: Official Numbers Confirm a Successful Debut in Vienna

HIGH END Vienna 2026: i numeri ufficiali confermano il successo della nuova sede

HIGH END Vienna 2026 ended with official figures confirming the success of the move from Munich to the Austria Center Vienna.

After many years in Munich, the most important European event dedicated to high-fidelity audio has found a new home. The first edition of HIGH END Vienna 2026 took place from June 4 to June 7 at the Austria Center Vienna, and the official figures released by the organizers confirm a highly successful debut.

As an accredited visitor attending the trade-only days, I had the opportunity to experience the event firsthand, and the positive impressions gathered during the show are now confirmed by the official figures released by the HIGH END SOCIETY.

Over 23,000 Visitors from 104 Countries

L’edizione 2026 ha registrato:

  • 23,109 total visitors
  • 10,603 trade visitors
  • 11,957 consumer visitors
  • 549 media representatives
  • 500 exhibitors from 41 countries
  • 1,000 brands represented
  • Attendees from 104 countries

Figures that confirm how HIGH END continues to be the global benchmark for the Hi-Fi and High-End audio industry.

A Modern and Well-Designed Venue

One of the most talked-about topics before the exhibition was the relocation from Munich to Vienna. From my perspective, the Austria Center Vienna proved to be a modern, spacious, and well-organized venue, perfectly suited to host an event of this scale.

The spacious exhibition halls, wide walkways, and outdoor areas contributed to a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, even with thousands of visitors moving through the venue.

Innovation, New Products and a Strong International Presence

Throughout the event, I had the opportunity to explore and document a number of noteworthy product launches and innovations, including:

  • il nuovo ToneWinner TY-60
  • the remarkable Volumio Rivo Ultra
  • the newly introduced Fosi Audio V5
  • the new Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series
  • the latest products from Eversolo</
  • the latest loudspeaker solutions from ELAC
  • the return of Onkyo to the Hi-Fi market
  • numerous analog audio solutions and some of the world's most ambitious high-end systems

The presence of exhibitors and brands from around the globe reinforced the event’s position as one of the most important international platforms for innovation, networking, and business opportunities in the world of high-fidelity audio.

Encouraging Signs for the Future of Hi-Fi

One of the most debated topics among audio enthusiasts concerns the future of high-fidelity audio and the industry's ability to attract new generations of listeners and music lovers.

Although there is still room to attract more young people to the hobby, the official figures demonstrate that the Hi-Fi industry is anything but stagnant. The participation of manufacturers, distributors, media professionals, and enthusiasts from over 100 countries highlights the continued vitality of the sector and sends a very positive message about the future of high-fidelity audio.

HIGH END Vienna 2026: The Next Appointment Is Set for 2027

Given the success of the first Vienna edition, the organizers have already confirmed the dates for the next event:

HIGH END Vienna 2027
📍 Austria Center Vienna
📅 6 – 9 maggio 2027

If the success of the 2026 edition is any indication, Vienna is well on its way to becoming the new European capital of high-fidelity audio for years to come.
